Friday is for sure the best day of the week for many people, for me don’t change a lot as I am self-employ but still is the day when all the stress from the week come to knock your door, so for this week I decided to escape from it and do not let it find me at home 😛
So around 5pm I decide to have a break, I told my girlfriend to have a walk around Wandsworth to refresh our mind so we did it. Meanwhile I was walking I had a flashback, I remember last year I was walking over the bridge and saw a pub but I never had the chance to go. Therefore I googled it and we made our way to the pub.
As soon as we walked in the street I could tell that was really cool place, exactly how I remember, many people laughing, drinking, and a big panel, THE SHIP PUB, so we realise that we were in the right place for what we need that evening, released all the stress from the week.
We took two beers and we sat in the terrace outside, the sun over us was amazing and not too hot. The pub has a really nice athosphere, especially in summer, full of people, maxi tv on the terrace, so I guess who wants to follow sport in an outside area there is ideal.
It’s a really friendly ambience too, we took a seat in one of the long bench and we ended speaking with a couple of guys close to us, so if you are by yourself and you are not too shy to go in a pub I would recommended even for single people who might just want a drink to relax and who knows you might find your half!!!
As a traditional pub you can’t miss the hamburger and fries, really taste and if you are planning to not cook that night THE SHIP is a good option.
The view is also nice, you are exactly by the river so you might even see the sunset, I definetely recommend it to the one who are planning to date a girl, it has a romantic side as well.
However the pub has an indoor room as well so don’t panic if the rain catch you meanwhile you are there you can keep going drinking or eating inside or is a nice alternative for a lunch in winter.
